Oh hi! I’m going to jump right into this newsletter because there is much to share. The first and foremost being: Swoon is hosting our first author signing!
In case you missed the announcement, below are the details.
Swoon’s First Signing, Annie’s First Novel
We’re taking over Sun and Soil for the night on Thursday, April 17th from 7 pm - 9 pm to celebrate Annie McQuaid’s first novel, Crash Landing. Crash Landing is “A funny and heartwarming debut romance about two exes forced to reunite when a plane crash leaves them stranded on a deserted island.”
Join Annie as she discusses her novel with fellow author, Lauren Connolly (P.S. I Hate You). When their discussion concludes, both authors will be signing copies of their books. That’s right! Two authors in one night.
I’m so excited for these women to join us and even more thrilled to be supporting a local-adjacent debut author (Annie’s from Raleigh, NC). I hope you’re equally excited.
The signing is a ticketed event. The cost is $50. This ticket gets you access to the signing, a copy of Crash Landing (provided at the event), drinks and a sweet treat, courtesy of Casey’s Macaron Shop.
If you are interested, I highly encourage you to purchase your ticket as soon as possible as there are a limited number of tickets. Plus, it allows for me to properly prepare for the event.
You can purchase your tickets here! I hope I see you then.

What I’m….
I had a lot of fun with this last time so here’s another one for you!
Reading: Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez
I got an eARC and it’s everything you want from an Abby Jimenez book. I won’t say much, but it has all the feels. This releases April 1!!
Watching: White Lotus
Who isn’t? Mike White’s brain is a wonderful, wild place and I’m so happy to be staying at one of his messed up hotels again. I can’t even pick which plot line I’m enjoying the most. (But it’s probably the dynamic between the three friends.)
Snacking On: the Mini Cheese Sandwich Crackers from Trader Joes
Crack sandwiches more like.
TTFN!
